Vans Slip-On Pro Shoes
Few footwear brands can boast as iconic of a print as the Vans checkerboard. New for this season, the Vans Slip-on Pro sees the checkerboard design this time in mineral red. An upgraded classic for heightened performance, the Slip-On Pro has been crafted with a combination of suede and canvas for the upper, coming with a mini rubber toe cap for good measure. To help better protect your feet, the inclusion of UltraCush HD sockliners and Vulc Lite construction work perfectly. Accompanying the iconic print, you’ll find a Vans flag label on the side wall and the Off The Wall Pro heel tab in trademark red.
The now synonymous checkerboard print was first used in 1977, when Vans’ Style 48 was released. The print went into production after Steve Van Doren noticed that teenage skaters were colouring in their Vans to create a checkerboard design.
